Leaving 7:00am behind NPD Yaldhurst Road (Filly Place). There’s plenty of safe, convenient parking there.
Door-to-door available from Belfast via North West suburbs.

Chains need to be carried. Keep left to maintain 2-way access and observe the 40km/h speed limit. If you have a line of cars forming behind you, please pull over to allow faster vehicles to pass safely. We are parking at Rakaia Saddle.
Weather Comment
Unfortunately Mt Hutt is closed today due to severe gales. At 6:15am wind speeds over the summit are hitting 135km/h and are forecast to increase through the day. If you are in the Methven area click here for some alternative options. The wind buttons back overnight and at this stage things look good for reopening tomorrow.
