Mōrena, and welcome to vastly improved Whakapapa.Presently we have high overcast cloud above the top of the mountain, with still and clear conditions over the ski area. The forecast is for some weather with cloud and showers building this afternoon.In the base area, our Whakapapa Shop and Lorenz's Bar & Café will open from 9.30am, followed by Snowland, the Sky Waka gondola, and the Knoll Ridge Cafe from 10am.
