Information

Mōrena from a clear Whakapapa! We're looking forward to a fine and settled day, with clear skies and a stiff southerly higher up the maunga.Yesterdays storm delivered another 5cm's of fresh snow up high, topping up our snow stocks nicely up high, with the T-bars looking great again, along with some great drifting helping to fill in the gullies. On top of this, with some cooler temps this morning we have fired up some snowmaking with a fresh layer of snow on the lower slopes!Today, base area facilities, along with the Sky Waka gondola, and the Knoll Ridge cafe will all open from 8am!!!Please note that access up the gondola for the first hour is to the cafe only for an early high altitude coffee!Skiing and riding access will not kick off until 9am.The Delta Chair, along with all other lower mountain lifts will open from 9am.The Valley and Knoll T-bars are on hold due to high winds. These will be constantly monitored with an update at 7.30am.Later today we will be hosting a "Sunset Session" with a DJ and drinks specials on the LBC deck, along with some late laps on the Rangatira!!Wax those boards, sharpen up those edges, get on up here. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our maunga!
